Country Women’s Association Building Sale

Ray White Real Estate is very proud to announce we have been selected to sell the Country Women’s Association (CWA) building in Elizabeth Bay along with one other agent.

Our office is part of a Ray White team including Ray White Commercial who were chosen from 17 agents to handle the sale which is expected to net the CWA more than $12 million. The other agent appointed to sell the building is CBRE.

Delegates at the CWA’s annual conference voted earlier this year to sell the building at 11-13 Greenknowe Avenue, Elizabeth Bay with the proceeds going towards the purchase of a more modest, lower cost office building without accommodation.

It will mark the end of an era for CWA whose head office and modest 50 room “residential club” has been housed in the building since 1955 with the aim of providing low cost and “homely” accommodation.

Ray White Elizabeth Bay is very excited to be involved in the changing history of this landmark property in Elizabeth Bay.

Strong interest is expected from residential unit developers and the student accommodation sector, with Expressions of Interest to close on 1st October, 2014. (We will keep you updated on developments).
